Frank A. Miller 1867-1950

August 2010

First published in July 2008

Drawing and remembrances by the late Lloyd Eric Miller. "Frank A. Miller is driving from his home in Palmyra, Iowa, to Pleasantville. Most of the time he shopped at home in the small towns of Palmyra, Hartford and Carlisle. About once a month he went to Pleasantville which was slightly larger and had more variety. He is driving a spring buggy first used by English merchants because it was lightweight and easy to load. Iowa farmers used it for similar reasons. The pioneer town of Palmyra is in the background. Frank A. Miller is buried in the Palmyra cemetery.
