• How can I become a member of CAHS?

  Membership in our society is $35.00 per person per year or $500.00 for a single lifetime membership.

  Please contact any Board member or visit one of our functions for a membership application or simply mail a check to us at P.O. Box 137 Carlisle, IA 50047. Tell us how you became interested in our society and let us know what areas you find of particular interest.

Donations

• What does the museum and the society need?

  The time period covered by our museum is 1920 or earlier. We are seeking furniture and household objects that might have been used by the family who originally lived there. We also accept items of historical significance to the Carlisle, Palmyra, Hartford, Avon and Scotch Ridge area from any time period. Cash donations are always welcome. Renovations and educational programs require funding. The more you donate the more we can give back to our community.
